Latest Update : The M.E / M.Tech Counseling Comes to End for the Academic Year 2013-14. The TANCA2013 Counseling is Ended on 30.08.2013 at 2.55 PM (including SCA to SC Counseling)
At the end of the counseling Out of 17731 Seats still 6178 Seats are not filled. its around 35% o Seats are not filled at the end of the counseling.
In Anna University Colleges Out of 3571 Seats, 415 Seats are vacant.
In Self financing Engineering Colleges, Our of 13419 Seats, 7675 (57%) Seats only filled and 5744 (43%) Seats are vacant.

COUNSELLING FOR SCHEDULED CASTE (SC) CANDIDATES
As per the provision in G.O. (Ms.) No. 61 Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare (TD-2) Department dated 29.05.2009, to fill up the vacant seats if any, under SCA (SC-Arunthathiyars), the counselling for SC candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu will be held on 30.08.2013 at the Centre for Entrance Examinations and Admissions, Anna University, Chennai - 25.
The eligible SC candidates who have applied for TANCA 2013 already may attend the counselling after registering their names between 9.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m. on 30.08.2013 along with all the original certificates, original allotment order and initial deposit of ` 1,150/-. Candidates are advised to see the vacancy position / availability of seats in the courses / colleges of their choice in the Anna University website and attend the counselling.
M.E / M.Tech Counseling TANCA 2013 for Anna University Colleges and Anna University Affiliated Government and Self Financing Colleges was started yesterday at Anna University for GATE Candidates.
For NON GATE Candidates the Counseling TANCA 2013 was started 22.08.2013.
Totally 17731 Seats are allotted for Non Gate Counseling from 348 Colleges in Tamilnadu.
11466 Seats filled at the end of counseling on 29.08.2013(6.30PM).
The Regular counseling is scheduled upto 29th August.
And the SCA to SC conversion counselling will be on 30.08.2013
